️ Mastodon is a club whose purpose is hating Elon Musk. That’s one of the best reasons I can think of for dumping mastodon.
@davew Mastodon started in 2016 and newer heard of Elon till this past year, so that is maybe your perspective as a newbie in mastodon. Anyways i dunno why people see a decentralized and federated network of servers as an alternative to a purely centralized one like Twitter. More likely would be the case to think about migrating to places like Instagram or Facebook right? Cheers!
